Deidra L. Jackson serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs for North America, where she leads the region’s corporate affairs strategy and oversees engagement with key stakeholders, including government, industry, media, and local communities. In this role, she is responsible for advancing Drax’s policy priorities, strengthening the company’s reputation, and fostering strategic partnerships that support the organization’s long-term growth and sustainability objectives.
Prior to joining Drax, Deidra held senior leadership roles in corporate affairs and strategic communications across the energy, oil and gas, chemical manufacturing and consulting sectors. She most recently served as Chief External Affairs Officer at Ridgeline Advocacy Group and as a Senior Advisor with FTI Consulting, where she counseled Fortune 500 companies on regulatory engagement, ESG initiatives, and reputation management. Earlier in her career, she held pivotal roles with BASF, ICF Consulting, Shell Oil Products US, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading initiatives focused on stakeholder engagement, crisis response, corporate responsibility, and workforce development.
Based in Washington, D.C., Deidra is widely recognized for her ability to navigate complex policy and reputational challenges while forging high-impact partnerships across government, industry, and public-interest organizations.
