Flexible generation is power generation that can quickly increase, decrease or adjust electricity output to help balance the grid and maintain a reliable energy supply. Our portfolio of flexible generation and energy solutions includes c.2.1GW of long- and short-duration storage and flexible generation.

Pellet production is the process of transforming sustainably sourced wood fibre into compressed wood pellets for renewable power generation and industrial energy needs. Drax is a vertically integrated producer, user, buyer and seller of sustainable biomass.
